Pan fried Halibut, gluten free!

I’ve been looking for more and more gluten free products as Bill and I seem to feel better overall when we cut it out of our diets herunterladen.  My friend Lisa introduced me to the “Schar Gluten-Free Wheat-Free Bread Crumbs”, which is both gluten and wheat-free during an event we hosted together lieder von soundclouden online.  These bread crumbs work pretty good in a number of dishes I’ve made and I think this pan fried version of fish turned out crispy and delicious webseiten herunterladen chrome!  (I’ve since found another brand “glutino”, which have more of the Panko crumb feel and are also really good!)



2 pounds fish fillets, I used Halibut
1/2 Cups Parmesan Cheese, grated
1 Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Tablespoon Butter, melted
1/4 Cup Fresh Parsley, chopped fine
1 Egg, lightly beaten
2-3 Tablespoons Half & Half
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1/3 Cup Sunflower Oil, for frying
2 Tablespoons Lemon Olive Oil
Lemon wedges

Fry fish, a few fillets at a time, for three to five minutes on each side or until golden brown and fish flakes easily with a fork herunterladen.  Drain on paper towels.

Meanwhile, I blanched some green beans and did a quick saute with butter, soy sauce, sesame oil and sesame seeds for a side dish herunterladen.  I also made a side zucchini salad and simple mashed potatoes how can I whatsapp for free.


Serve the fish with a garnish with lemon and parsley if desired.  The fish will be flaky on the inside and crispy on the outside.


This meal paired perfectly with the 2006 Pine Ridge Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon Bill pulled from the cellar!
