Turkey Meatballs with Marinara

This meal was inspired by Bill’s request… He was hungry for “bigger” meatballs.  My goal was to make a flavorful, but low “point” (Weight Watchers Points Plus) meal since yesterday I over did it a bit and with a cold – just didn’t feel like going to the gym this morning download apps voor ios!

I served this dish with a side salad (recipe to follow) and Spanakopita… a favorite side from Costco (2 points per meatball and 2 points per delicious Triangle.  A flaky phyllo sheet treat – layered with a savory spinach and feta cheese filling.)

Ingredients:
I pound of ground Turkey
I large Onion, chopped
1 1/2 Cups red, yellow and orange Peppers, chopped
3 Tablespoons Vegetable oil
1/3 Cup Egg Beaters
1 medium Zucchini, grated
1/3 Cup Fresh Basil, chopped
1 Cup Seasoned, dried Bread Crumbs
Salt & Pepper to taste
Fresh (frozen) Tomatoes (roughly 2 1/2 Cups)
3 Garlic cloves, pressed
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 Cup Xylitol (sugar substitute)
Remaining 1/3 of Onion, Pepper & Basil mixture
Salt & Pepper to taste

Saute Onions in Oil until transparent anstoss 3. If pan becomes dry, add a little water at a time to continue cooking until soft. Add red, yellow and orange Peppers and cook for about two minutes longer.  Add chopped fresh Basil bmw inpa download deutsch kostenlos win 10.

Turn off heat and set aside until somewhat cooled.

To assemble meatballs:

To Prepare Marinara Sauce:

Buffalo Chicken Mac ‘N Cheese

This dish was created with some of our favorite flavors found leftover on hand in the fridge.  I combined leftover Broasted Chicken and Al dente’ pasta, along with some perfectly delicious extra’s on hand.  Since I’m watching my points, I was able to keep the Weight Watchers count to a minimum while the rest of the family enjoyed it just as much not even knowing it was somewhat healthy herunterladen!

Ingredients:
3 to 4 Cups of par-cooked Pasta
3 to 4 Cups of shredded white and dark Chicken off the bone (all skin removed and discarded)
1 Tablespoons Oil
3 Tablespoons Butter divided
2 Cups chopped Celery including some of the soft leaves within the core
1 Cup chopped Onion
1 teaspoon Celery Salt
3 Tablespoons of Paprika
1/3 Cup of left over prepared Chicken gravy
2 cloves of smashed Garlic
3 Cups chopped Spinach
I try to add healthy optional vegetables such as Spinach because when chopped small they go unnoticed and the added benefits of the dark leafy greens are endless (And Zero Points value on the Weight Watchers Plus)


Salt & Pepper to taste (fresh ground)
3 Tablespoons flour
3 teaspoons dry Mustard
1 ½ Cups of Almond (Silk) Milk
1 Cup 1% Milk
1 Cup Franks Hot Sauce
1 Tablespoon crumbled Blue Cheese
¼ Cup of semi-soft Goat Cheese
1 ¼ Cup of shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cups of Panko Bread Crumbs
1 Cup of seasoned Bread Crumbs

Preheat oven to 400

Add celery and onion to oil and one tablespoon of butter into the bottom of pot.  Add celery salt, paprika, and garlic and saute until soft herunterladen.

Add the blue cheese and goat cheese stirring until completely dissolved.

Szechuan style Green Beans

One of my favorite side dishes is green beans; especially spicy and sweet Szechuan style!

My version is made without the typical method of deep-frying the beans and I chose sugar substitute as I must constantly watch my waistline Download step 7 for free!

I use about one pound of fresh french style green beans.  I par-cook them by boiling them for about 5-6 minutes in a pot of lightly salted water.  Depending on how you prefer your texture, you can stop the cooking process by placing them immediately in a bowl of ice water vdownloader gratis downloaden.

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
2 large cloves of Garlic

1/4 Cup Soy sauce
1/4 cup of Rice wine vinegar
2 Tablespoons of Xylitol sugar substitute (or sugar)
2 Tablespoons of Hot Chili sauce/paste

1 Tablespoon of Sesame oil
2-4 Tablespoons of Hoisin sauce (to taste)
3 Tablespoons of fresh Cilantro – chopped
1 T fresh flat leaf Parsley chopped
2 Tablespoons of chunky sugar-free peanut butter
dash of salt
fresh ground black pepper

Saute Garlic in oil over low heat until light brown.  Be careful not to scorch.  Add Ginger download car racing for pc for free.

Spectacular Shrimp & lobster Pizza!

This is one of the first dishes my friend Jen and I documented together during the preparation process.  (March, 2010)

Lemon, shrimp and lobster pizza how can I whatsapp for free.

Seafood Chowder

This dish was created because I don’t love left over fish… I used Cod and Tilapia.  Then added some fresh shrimp…  Re-heating fish just doesn’t cut it even if you like left-overs!  But in the soup… it is amazing amazon movies pc!

Ingredients:
2-4 tablespoons olive oil
2-4 tablespoons Butter
2 14 oz. cans of Chicken broth (or fresh Chicken stock)
4-6 celery stalks with leaves cleaned chopped in to small pieces
I huge sweet onion chopped
3 carrots peeled and chopped
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
4 large size garlic clove smashed
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 ‘ish vine ripened tomatoes, chopped small
Chopped fresh parsley
2 sprigs Rosemary (chopped)
2 sprigs marjoram
Peperoncino (fresh) or 2 T red pepper flakes
14 oz can of artichoke hearts cut small
Zest of orange or 2 T orange juice
I small package Brie
1 ½ C smashed acorn squash (thickens soup)
dash of cinnamon
1 ½ C Sour cream
2 T flour to thicken
2 T cocktail sauce
3 C or more Sauvignon Blanc (reserve two glasses for you and a friend)
