Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

8 to 10 Cups Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Lemon, rind and juice
2 Tablespoons Cinnamon 
1 Tablespoon Flour, maybe more
1/2 Cup Water
Topping:
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Oats
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
dash of Salt
1/2 Cup Butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees eplan p8 download for free.  Grease bottom and sides of a 9 X 13 cake pan with soft butter.

Mix the sliced apples with the remaining juice and grated rind of the lemon en stream.  Mix in the sugar and about a tablespoon of flour, salt and the cinnamon together.  If it seems like there is a lot of liquid, use a dash more flour download the translator.  Spread the apple mixture into the prepared pan.

Combine the four with the oats and add the baking powder, baking soda.  Next mix the brown sugar with the butter and combine it with the flour and oat mixture, coating everything evenly download video app.  Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.

Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork. Serve warm with ice cream.

Stuffed Pepper Bites without Rice

Both Bill and I enjoy Bell peppers.  Often called sweet peppers, they have a characteristic bell shape with crunchy, thick fleshy texture.  Additionally, on comparison with other members, bell (sweet) peppers feature characteristically less pungency that ranges from zero to very minimal hotness defender.  For the same reasons, they generally treated like any other common vegetables instead of spice.  They are low in Saturated Fat, and very low in Cholesterol and Sodium shadow fight 2 special edition for free.  They’re also a good source of Thiamin, Niacin, Folate, Magnesium and Copper, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Potassium and Manganese musik downloaden mit link einfügen.  We eat them often as the entire meal, but recently I wanted to change things up for a girls gathering and created these simple “bites” made from ingredients that I had on hand in the fridge and pantry download movies from tvthek.  Easy, but great!

Ingredients:

Red, Yellow, Orange and/or Green Bell Peppers

Uncover, and bake for an additional five to ten minutes or until cheese is bubbly and browned.  Serve immediately

We enjoyed ours topped with a dollop of Ricotta Con Latte, fresh grated paremsan and some fresh basil.

Roasted Cauliflower Salad

2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice, and some rind

1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil, plus more for roasting cauliflower
Salt and Ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 Cup Dried Cranberries and Blueberries
1/4 Cup Pine Nuts, toasted
Parmesan cheese, shaved

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and spread cauliflower florets out onto baking sheet Download bpm studio for free.  Drizzle with olive oil and toss with salt and pepper. Prosciutto-Wrapped Scallops and Shrimp

I was trying to think of something different to prepare on a recent girls night gathering.  Bill had been hungry for scallops and I always like shrimp served along with them download video mac.  I took a look around the fridge, freezer and pantry to see what ingredients that I had on hand; and recalled watching Giada prepare Prosciutto wrapped scallops lidl plus app.  I went on line and worked with her recipe!  It’s simple and delicious and Bill isn’t even an olive fan… Give it a try! Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Sun-dried Tomatoes
2-3 Tablespoons Fresh Basil leaves
2 Tablespoons Kalamata Olives, (about 12 olives pitted where to download books. She used black olives)

6 Scallops (it’s all I had, she used 12, so I also made shrimp!)
Salt & Pepper, to taste
6 thinly sliced Prosciutto
2 Cups Fresh Greens, (Arugula)

Bake the scallops uncovered until the scallop is cooked through, about 15 minutes.

Pour shrimp along with marinade on hot grill griddle or in a cast iron skillet over medium grill heat.  Stir and toss shrimp until they turn pink in color and tighten or curl up a bit. This only takes a few minutes, and it depends on the size of the shrimp, but don’t overcook it as it gets tough if you do.

In a medium bowl, toss the arugula with the balsamic vinegar. Season the arugula with salt and pepper.

Place the arugula on a serving platter or divide among individual dishes. Top with the scallops and serve immediately.

Pan fried Halibut, gluten free!

I’ve been looking for more and more gluten free products as Bill and I seem to feel better overall when we cut it out of our diets.  My friend Lisa introduced me to the “Schar Gluten-Free Wheat-Free Bread Crumbs”, which is both gluten and wheat-free during an event we hosted together herunterladen.  These bread crumbs work pretty good in a number of dishes I’ve made and I think this pan fried version of fish turned out crispy and delicious lieder von soundclouden online!  (I’ve since found another brand “glutino”, which have more of the Panko crumb feel and are also really good!)

Ingredients:

2 pounds fish fillets, I used Halibut
1/2 Cups Parmesan Cheese, grated
1 Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Tablespoon Butter, melted
1/4 Cup Fresh Parsley, chopped fine
1 Egg, lightly beaten
2-3 Tablespoons Half & Half
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1/3 Cup Sunflower Oil, for frying
2 Tablespoons Lemon Olive Oil
Lemon wedges
