Chicken Parmesan

Chicken Parmesan was on the brain after seeing it prepared quickly on a segment of the NBC morning TODAY show!  So I thought I would prepare it for the other night for dinner for Bill.  Instead of serving it over spaghetti, I sauteed some fresh spinach and served it with that!  I do have to learn to cook in smaller portions since it’s usually just the two of us, but my office staff was pleased with the fact that I had enough leftovers’ to share for lunch the next day for all of us dateien von wetransfer herunterladen! Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 large Onion
3 Garlic cloves
2 Bay leaf
1 can of diced Tomatoes
1 can of Tomato sauce

4 Cups fresh Spinach

Saute the onions, garlic and bay leaf in olive oil over medium heat.  Cook while stirring for roughly 5 minutes until fragrant and soft.  Add garlic and cook another minute or so Download iphone ringtones for free.

Ham (Yellow Split Pea) Soup

So Bill and I were having the kids over recently for a Sunday visit and dinner… Some of my kids and their significant others are a little on the fussy side, so I was careful what I called the soup!  I had been craving split peas soup and all I had on hand were the yellow ones, not green.  Since I hadn’t made a ham recently, there was no bone to start with… Since I’m always being creative with what’s on hand, I decided to use some packaged ham from the fridge and created “Ham soup” (at least that is what I told the kids)

Bill’s folks also joined us and I knew Karen was about as cautious as the kids when it came to the “peas”!  We made it a point and were careful not to mention the peas as a key ingredient… reservekopie iphone apps downloaden niet. until AFTER everyone was enjoying their bowls and confirmed that they loved it!

Ingredients:

3.5 quarts of Chicken Stock
1 1/2 large Onion

To prepare this easy and healthy soup, start by rinsing your dried peas.  I let them soak in Luke warm water at room temperature for about 3 hours while I prepared other ingredients and got some tasks done around the house scratch 2 free download chip.

 

Since I had a number of chicken carcass’ in the freezer, it was time to make home made chicken stock.  Every time I pick up a broasted chicken and have used the majority of the meat for another dish, I save the carcass, skin and any left over drippings from the take out containers and secure them in ziplock packages for the freezer herunterladen. To make your home made chicken stock:

Serve up with fresh dinner rolls.  We chose to make grilled three cheese (white and orange American, along with Provolone) sandwiches on sour dough bread lightly buttered and toasted until lightly browned.
Even the fussiest are still bragging about how much they loved my “HAM soup”!

Crab Cakes

I like ordering Crab Cakes when we go out to dinner.  I find that so many people have different ideas about how they should taste and have also noticed the texture can be very different, depending on where you might find them on the menu Download live video from facebook! I was inspired recently when I found a large lovely one pound can of refrigerated Crab Meat at Costco.  It was almost $30 for the can, but went for it anyways…  here is my version powerpoint foil sdesign for free!

Ingredients:
1 pound of Crab meat
12 Club Crackers – crushed
2 large Green Onions (white & green parts chopped)
1/2 Cup of red, yellow and red or orange Peppers – chopped
1/2 Cup of Spinach (chopped fine)
2 Tablespoons of Mayo
2 Tablespoons of fat free Mayo
1/4 Cup of Egg Beaters
1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 Garlic clove
1/2 Cup flour
1/2 Cup of Panko Crumbs
1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
fresh ground Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon of Creole Seasoning (Cajun flavor)

2 Tablespoons vegetable Oil
2 Tablespoons of Grapeseed Oil

Sauce Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons Greek Yogurt
3 Tablespoons of fat free Mayo
1/2 Cup of low fat Buttermilk
2 Tablespoons of Dill paste
2 Tablespoons of Lemon juice
1 Garlic clove
1 Tablespoon of Splenda
3 Tablespoons of Cocktail sauce
dash of Salt
Pepper

Start by chopping the green onions, peppers and spinach.  Mix chopped vegetables with Mayo, egg, Worcestershire, crushed garlic, Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper empire earth kostenlos downloaden vollversion.

Chicken & Fig FlatOut Pizza’s with Pecan

Well if you have been following us, you know I’m a big fan of “FlatOut” products!  They are low in fat, good source of fiber and of course, perfect for super easy pizza, wraps or pinwheels.  I love the fact that they are low in calories and really enhance the distinct  flavors of what ever you are feeling music from youtube pc!

On this particular “girls night” for the Bachelor, I was heading out for the evening rather than host when Bill inquired whether or not I would let him go hungry… Of course that never happens, so I prepared enough to leave for him to enjoy download thalia ebook!  If you want to see how he rated it and paired it with his wine, see his blog kostenlos counter strike source downloaden!

On our ladies night I try to make a finger food if I’m transporting.  I also wanted to use what I had on hand as usual.  Who doesn’t love Chicken?  I was wanting the sweetness of Fig, so I combined it with sautéed Onions and Garlic, the richness of some terrific St safari browser. Top with additional Mozzarella cheese and bake until cheese is melted and browned.

Let rest for a few minutes before cutting.
